Interview with Gary Fernandez of Final Round Training
I caught up with Boxing and Fitness Coach Gary Fernandez who runs the “Final Round Training” channel on Youtube.
Gary has 7 years of experience in competitive amateur boxing to go along with his experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai and Wrestling. He is also a personal trainer and a Boxing and MMA coach and says that learning from videos online was a key factor to his development and skill building.
Me– “When did you first get in to Combative Sports?”
Gary-“I got into fitness when I was about 13 years old and I would lookup exercise in books, magazines, online, etc. Watching videos especially motivated me more and made me set high goals for myself. ”
Me-“What was your motivation to start the Final Round Health & Fitness Youtube Channel?”
Gary-“I’ve always had a passion for helping people in any situation. Since my profession and passion is in health and fitness, I decided to share my knowledge and encourage others through my YouTube and Facebook pages.”
Gary provides videos for people in all interests, regardless of their age, gender or fitness level.

Gary-“Watching videos especially motivated me more and made me set high goals for myself. This helped me a lot because I didn’t have a trainer or a gym until I was 18, so now my goal is to help others through these videos and motivate them the way I was.”
Me– “What do you hope that others will get out of your videos?”
Gary– “There is nothing more satisfying for me than helping people to change their lives by leading healthier lifestyles. ”
Me–“What do you most want to teach or impress on other people?”
Gary– “My goal is to teach all of the viewers that there are no shortcuts to reaching their goals. Everyone from Beginner to Expert has to put in the hard work and dedicate themselves to reach their goals. ”
Awesome Gary, Keep it Up!
